An ignition switch is a sequence, not a toggle. The MT133 turns through ACC – OFF – IGN – START in a fixed order, with the START position sprung so the key releases back to IGN the instant you let go. That spring is the whole point: it is what separates a starter switch from a switch that quietly burns out a starter motor. The barrel carries 4 poles at DC 12V, 30A and ships with two keys.
