6P Key Isolator Switch with Two Keys and PC Body for DC 12V Control Circuits

Six circuits, one key. The MT132 is a key-operated ON-OFF isolator with 6P contacts and a 3A continuous rating at DC 12V — a control-level switch for panels where several circuits must go down together and only the key holder brings them back.

It is built for the control side of an installation: relay coils, contactor coils, instrument feeds and small control loops. The body is polycarbonate, the unit measures 75 cm with a 30 mm diameter, and two keys are supplied with every switch.

• Six circuits, one action — Six poles means six separate circuits open and close together. One turn of the key takes a whole control group down, instead of six switches in sequence.
• The key is the permission — With an ON-OFF key switch, re-energising the panel needs the key. That is the difference between a switch and a lock-out measure for plant and workshop equipment.
• Two keys as standard — Two are supplied with every unit: one for the operator, one held by whoever is responsible for the equipment.
• PC body — A polycarbonate body keeps the assembly light and resists the knocks that happen around machinery and vehicle dashboards.

• What 3A suits — Relay and contactor coils, panel electronics, instrument feeds, indicator circuits and small control loops.
• What it does not suit — Starter cables, battery banks, inverters or any main power feed. Those need a high-current isolator, not a control switch.
• The practical test — If the circuit could melt a screwdriver, it does not belong on this switch. If it runs a coil or a control board, it does.

• Measure the depth first — At 75 cm long with a 30 mm body, the unit needs clearance behind the panel. Check the space before drilling.
• Support the body — A long assembly held only at the face will flex. Clamp or bracket the body along its run.
• Keep control cables away from power cables — Induced noise on a control circuit causes more faults than the switch ever will.
• Label the poles — Number each pole on the drawing and on the panel so the next technician does not have to trace six wires by hand.

• Two keys in the box — Each switch ships with a pair. Order spares with the same order if the panel is going into a fleet.
• Key removal — Keys are supplied as a matched pair; replacements are quoted against the key code on your order.
